I finally finished editing these photos from a shoot we did in July with @just_a_fandom_acc ! Caitlin was an amazing model and made this first ever cosplay shoot really easy. It was nuts to get to check out a new part of Bremerton; I’ve lived here forever and I’ve never been to this canyon, and it made for some amazing photos!! I have not been feeling great lately. Shocking, I know. But I thought it’d be a nice change of pace to turn that into art. I’ve been so rusty lately, but trying to do something with a very specific feeling was a really cathartic process. I wish Instagram didn’t crop it like such a big punk, but that’s okayyyyy. Everybody, if you feel low, do what you need to do for you. Please, take the time to surround yourself with what you need. It’s so important to take care of yourself, and hearing about the struggles of other people here has made it very apparent that people need support in their mental health journeys. I’m lucky and grateful for the wonderful people who support me and help me use my tools, but even if you feel like you don’t have that support, you have you, and you matter.
